I enjoy working on the Advent of Code when I have free time over the holidays. The last couple of years I have wrote solutions in Haskell, Elixir and some Python but this year I focused on optimizing my Elixir solutions. I was able to solve all of the problems with minimal dependencies (only memoize and priority_queue) and my solutions are all under a second of execution time.
Aside from the solutions I also built mix tasks to download my input/puzzle and evaluate my results.
